From holding a cake sale to climbing a mountain, there are so many ways that you can fundraise to support our work. Take a look at some of our fundraising ideas to get you started, and if you’re thinking of fundraising for us we’d love to hear from you.
From quiz nights to coffee mornings we've had people organise fundraising events in their workplace in a variety of different ways. Our partners Focus Brands, for example, recently organised a 'Remembering Ukraine' bake sale to raise funds to support those affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
Whether you're organising a team event or a solo challenge, a sporting event is a great way to push yourself physically and stay fit while raising money for Goods For Good. We've had people arrange their own sponsored walks and runs, as well as take part in organised events such as Iron Man and the London Marathon. For the more adventurous, why not try a climbing a mountain or a skydive?
If you're celebrating a birthday, Christening, Bar/BatMitzvah, wedding anniversary, civil partnership, or another important milestone or special occasion, you can support our work by asking for donations instead of gifts. Whether remembering a loved one or it's your own celebration, this is a great way to ask your friends and family to make a donation to Goods For Good instead of giving a gift. If you need help setting up your fundraiser get in touch and one of our team will be able to help you.
Creating a birthday fundraiser is a great way to raise money for Goods For Good and it’s quick and simple to set up. Then all you need to do is ask friends and family members to forgo birthday gifts and donate to your Goods For Good fundraiser instead. Facebook then sends the money to us; there are no fees, so 100% of the donation goes to support our work.
Whether you're part of a membership group such as a sports club, a faith group or an education setting, crowdfunding is an alternative way to raise the funds we need to support our larger emergency response efforts.
In just 92 hours Melanie and Alyson mobilised their friends, family and community to raise a staggering £7,610. Their CrowdFunder was set up to sponsor the transportation of relief goods to those affected by the Türkiye-Syria earthquake.
If you'd like to sponsor a consignment, or need help setting up your fundraiser get in touch and one of our team will be able to help you.
You don’t have to run your own fundraiser to have an impact. By coming along to one of our events, you can support our work, meet others, and help us deliver essential goods to people in need — all without having to organise a thing.
