Born in North West London to a working-class family, Rosalind’s parents struggled to make ends meet with four children to feed.
Educated at Camden Town’s JFS school, she started volunteering at the age of 14, working with Camden Council’s Task Force, visiting the elderly and organising events for them. During the school holidays, she also worked with children from disadvantaged backgrounds in the area.
In January 2002, she began working as a Programme Manager for World Jewish Relief’s Gifts in Kind Programme, where she was responsible for building the programme from scratch, ultimately exporting £33.3 million worth of humanitarian aid to Eastern Europe and countries across the former Soviet Union. Visiting these communities and witnessing the levels of poverty firsthand had a profound and lasting impact on her.
When the charity closed its humanitarian aid delivery operation in 2013, Rosalind did not lose her passion or determination. In 2014, she founded Goods For Good, driven by a deep commitment to address the growing global imbalance between surplus and need.
With the support of former colleague Noah Bernstein and Dutch charity partner Max Veenstra, she established the organisation from her living room table, determined to create a practical solution to a problem she could not ignore. Since its founding, Goods For Good has supported more than five million people globally, providing essential items to those who would otherwise go without.
In recognition of her contribution to vulnerable communities around the world, Rosalind was awarded an MBE in the 2023 New Year Honours.
Following more than a decade as Chief Executive, Rosalind stepped into the role of Lifetime President in 2026. In this position, she continues to support the organisation’s development, champion its mission and values, and work closely with partners to strengthen relationships and drive fundraising.
