Jo Godsmark

Jo brings more than 25 years’ experience across logistics, supply chain and sustainability, with a strong track record of delivering operational excellence at scale.

She has worked across manufacturing, supply chain and logistics throughout her career, including 12 years as an entrepreneur, running her own consultancy and logistics software business. She went on to hold senior leadership roles at BigChange, first as Chief Operating Officer and later as Chief Data and Sustainability Officer, where she focused on strengthening operations, embedding sustainable practices, and using data and technology to drive performance and impact.

Jo has also served as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Transaid, an international development charity delivering safe and sustainable transport solutions in Africa, further strengthening her experience at the intersection of logistics, sustainability and humanitarian need.

She joined the Board of Trustees at Goods For Good in 2025 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2026. Having already been closely involved in the organisation, Jo brings a strong understanding of our model, partnerships and purpose.

As CEO, she leads the next phase of Goods For Good’s development, building on its established model to scale the redistribution of surplus goods, strengthen partnerships and ensure support reaches people who need it most, while continuing to reduce waste and promote more sustainable practices.
